Farewell, Despair Teacher
It's August! Almost payday! Over three months since I last wrote anything here!
And the reason for my absence (did you miss me?) is I’ve been busy, busy, busy… busy reading Sayōnara Zetsubō Sensei. (Wikipedia it, you know you want to.)
I’ve decided, after a few bad experiences with other series, not to watch the anime if the manga came first, and not to read the manga if the anime came first. Yes, everyone (and by everyone, I mean internet otakus that I’ve never met) says the Hagaren (Full Metal Alchemist) anime is good, but knowing that it doesn’t follow the manga storyline, I’ll pass. Even if it means being left jonesing for the next chapter for an entire month at a time.
In any case, it's time I weaned myself off this stuff and did something useful to save the planet, like creating save-the-planet t-shirt slogans, or getting a haircut. If you can't drink your coffee without a lock of hair slipping and skinny-dipping in your brew that's a sign, man. The universe is telling you to get the shears out.
